IMPORTANT CHECK IN DETAILS
Here’s the details (below) about the Main Madison House! There’s lots of important information below, but I prefer to over-communicate rather than under-communicate! Please make sure your party or any friends that visit the home during your stay follow all details listed below — especially related to parking! So I’ll let you let yourself in to the house, since it’s a self check in, but please let me know if you need anything at all. We live just down the street from the house a couple houses down, so I can chat with you in person if you need anything or have questions. Or you can just text me if you need something to my cell 806-335-6450! My family and I love to go out to eat and go on hikes and bike rides all the time, so let me know if you need any suggestions at all on things to do while you’re here.

*Important, please make sure you’re whole group follows parking guidelines** For parking, please do not park in the driveway, you may park either in the one spot directly in front of the home (circled in green where the pickup truck is in the image) or if that spot is taken, you may park park on the street on the park-side of the street (as circled in green in the pic above), other than the one spot in front of the house, please do not park on the houses-side of the street since the other neighbors park in front of their own houses normally. All the on street parking is free so you won’t have a problem once you find a spot.
If there’s not much parking available on the park side of the street, you can park down the street just a little bit here as circled in red by the chain link fence. It’s all free parking so you’re good.
The keypad for the smart lock is here. The code is 4213. Type in the code then press the red logo at the bottom. To lock when leaving, close the door and just press the red logo to lock it. To lock when inside, just manually turn the round lock with your hand to lock it when you’re in for the night. If the keypad gives you any problems, there’s also a lockbox (same code of 4213) on the wood of the porch with a house key inside it.
The neighbors on both sides of the house are super great and are dear friends of ours! The house has a side yard that is private and only belongs to our neighbors. Please make sure to stay out of the side yard (it’s the one that has a gate going into it and is between the houses and is marked in red above). The front porch and front patio where the wood bench is located is your only outdoor space you’re allowed in (aside from the public park across the street of course). Stay away from the circled areas in red above, the green circled area is where you are allowed to be. Lastly, the back door of the inside of the house is locked because we are using the extra rooms for storage. So the means the only way in and out of the house is through the front door.
Additionally, there is an attached apartment in the back of the house that is separate from the main house (it’s kinda like a duplex). We have renters in that separate apartment, so please stay away from the driveway, and the stairs in the back of the driveway (marked in red in the picture above). When inside the home, you might hear the renter’s feet walking up and down the black metal stairs or you might barely hear their feet in the apartment if you’re downstairs in the kitchen or dining room. In general, the noise is very, very minimal because when we built the apartment onto the back of the house, we sound proofed it so you won’t here much at all. I am just letting you know about this so you’re not afraid someone is trying to get inside the home haha. Let me know if you have any problems with any of that.
